Legal Disclaimer and Terms & Conditions Ema Stylz LLC (“Company,” “Salon,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) provides hair styling and related services to clients (“Client” or “you”) subject to the following Terms and Conditions. By booking, accepting, or receiving services from the Company, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1. General Disclaimer All services provided by the Company are for personal grooming, styling, and cosmetic purposes only. The Company makes no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the outcome, longevity, or performance of any service, product, or treatment provided. The Client acknowledges that individual results may vary depending on hair type, texture, and maintenance practices.
2. Client Responsibilities The Client agrees to disclose any allergies, scalp sensitivities, medical conditions, or prior adverse reactions to products or treatments prior to receiving services. The Client is responsible for following all aftercare instructions provided by the Company. The Company shall not be liable for damage resulting from failure to comply with aftercare recommendations. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
3. Appointments, Deposits, and Cancellations All appointments may require a deposit to secure booking. Deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing by the Company. The Client must provide a minimum of [X] hours notice for appointment cancellations or rescheduling. Failure to provide timely notice may result in forfeiture of deposits and/or assessment of cancellation fees. The Company reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason permitted by law, including but not limited to safety concerns, disruptive behavior, or failure to comply with these Terms.
4. Payments All payments for services and products are due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed in writing. The Company accepts payment methods as specified at the salon location or on its official website. Refunds are not provided for completed services. At the Company’s sole discretion, corrective services may be offered if a concern is raised within [X] days of the original appointment.
5. Limitation of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, injuries, allergic reactions, or losses arising from or related to services or products provided. The Client expressly releases the Company, its owners, employees, and contractors from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action related to the receipt of services.
6. Health & Safety The Company follows applicable health, safety, and sanitation standards. The Client agrees to comply with all posted salon rules and instructions provided by staff. Clients who appear ill, have open wounds, or pose a risk to staff or other clients may be refused service.
7. Intellectual Property Any images, photographs, or videos taken of hairstyles or services provided may be used by the Company for marketing and promotional purposes unless the Client submits a written objection prior to service. All logos, branding, and materials remain the intellectual property of the Company.
8. Governing Law These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of [Insert State], without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in [Insert County/State Jurisdiction].
